They want the rent but not the responsibility
Pros
Lovely block, garden level apartment in a brown stone with a very large yard. Laundry, dishwasher, central AC/Heat
Cons
Only two rooms. Massive rat infestation in both the back and front yards which they do nothing about. It takes forever to get repairs done by the landlords, very scatterbrained and disorganized. There is no soundproofing and the landlords are the owners who constantly yell to one another and their kid between floors. They clearly want the extra income without the responsibilities of being landlords. Rent is high for a pretty small apartment and a filthy dirt backyard which is impossible to grow anything in.
Advice to the owners
Hire a superintendent
