Neighborhood makes up for sh*t mangement

We dealt with mice, roaches, and other pests throughout the two years I lived here.
Advice to the owners
Be HONEST about the realities of the building with future tenants. It's a beautiful old building in a neighborhood that could use some cleaning up, but nevertheless our apartment was rife with pest issues. We often felt ignored and gaslit when these issues were brought up with management.
Quality apartment with minor setbacks
Pros
very clean and most rooms are spacious, lots of natural light, in-building laundry, good location (2 min from M line)
Cons
right above a bakery and restaurant so we once had a mice and cockroach issue, but it was relatively minor in light of the fact that you could even smell the bakery food when they were baking. it is also incredibly noisy, especially with rooms closer to the streetsides.
