Former tenant·11 months ago

Great affordability !

Pros

We had a good super Close to train station

Cons

Lots of sketchy people in the neighborhood

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

Cheap, slow management

Pros

My apartment had all the makings of what seemed like a great deal: proximity to subway stations, balcony, modern appliances, fairly new bathroom. The apartment LOOKS nice.

Cons

The building management is truly heinous. The super might be able to fix things in your apartment in a timely manner, but if he can’t fix it, you’re left to screw around with the property manager. They’re slow to respond to repair requests, and any service requests you send through their portal is left unattended for weeks. In the middle of the August heat, my AC broke, and the building did not replace it for an entire week. I was sweltering in an 85 degree apartment the entire time. The building intercom didn’t work for the first several weeks I was living there. The stove has been broken since I’ve moved in, and they have still not repaired it. It’s been more than 3 months.

Advice to the owners

Be responsive and actually try to fix things in a timely manner.
