Good place but needs some updates

Management is responsive, it's clean. Overall a good place.
Cons
The water temperature changes when someone else in the building is showering at the same time. Heat in the winter also gets too hot and you have to open windows

SO MANY PESTS. I moved in and on DAY 4 saw a cockroach the size of both of my cats paws put together. After that, I proceeded to see 4 more LARGE cockroaches. I had not even unpacked, and I am super super clean. When I called them to complain they simply sent an exterminator for only the part of the apartment I had seen it in, not the entire unit, and did not fill the gaps. Looking out of the back window into the backyard area you can see cockroaches climbing up the lines and sides of the building. There are tons of gaps in the floor, the ceiling around the heater pipe started to fall as well, and when the heat was turned on one of the heaters was leaking some steam. In addition, the units are very close to the train and the windows are not insulated enough so you will hear the train when it comes into the station.
Advice to the owners
Please exterminate the entire building, and fix the foundational issues and then you shouldn't have a problem finding tenants to lease it.
