The building has been upgraded. There is Concierge, package locker, storage and a gym.
Cons
Gym is still closed. Buildings new radiators do not properly heat the large pre-war apartments. Still rent control and rent stabilized mixed in with new fully renovated apartments. Concern of knob and tube wiring still being on older units.
Advice to the owners
Try to safely upgrade all of the older apartments to guarantee safety for all.

Great building, clean no bugs or nice at all.
Cons
Knickerbocker Ave is the loudest street ever. Super loud car stereos at all hours of the day. Police, fire and ambulance sirens all of the time. Don’t get an apartment on the knickerbocker side of the building the off street side is the place to be. Oh also in the last month 2x people got stabbed across the street in broad day light and one person got shot just up the street on dekalb.
Advice to the owners
Petition the city for a no cruising and loud music down this street. I’ve seen it done in other cites. The cops would make so much money sitting in one spot anywhere on this street during the weekend ticketing almost every car that goes by for a loud stereo.
