New Management sucks
Pros
Nice area, close to everything. Newly renovated units with some older (rent controlled?) tenants.
Cons
One of the older tenants collect recycles from public trash cans on the street and put it in their apartment so it kind of smells close to their apartment. However, the new management is nearly impossible to contact.
New management (Arya) is unresponsive and the new owner is inconsiderate

My lease renewal from the new ownership was an additional $1,000/month on rent that was already corrected for COVID pricing. The new management company is unresponsive to emails and calls. Move here if you want to be squeezed for every dollar and treated like a line item in their excel model. MacDougal is very loud, but if you face Minetta you'll be alright. A new restaurant opened that has party dinners on certain days which can be heard throughout the building
