Great location and building
Pros
The high ceilings with exposed beams and brick walls and the courtyard we face are all beautiful and get lots of comments from visitors. The general upkeep of the building seems to be decent. The fit and finish of the building and our apartment are very good. The neighbors are great and the building in general is very quiet.
Cons
The building is walk-up and no laundry so that’s part of the trade off for the wonderful area. The new landlord isn’t super responsive and heat provision is right at the edge of what’s required by the city so it’s ok but not toasty. Water pressure is pretty weak as well. Originally moved into a unit with high quality appliances and landlord replaced broken appliance with very basic, used and rusted low quality unit. Landlord is using a vacant rent stabilized apartment for AirBnB.
Great apartment, cold in winter!

Beautiful historic building in a wonderful neighborhood. Landlord is friendly and generally helpful.
Cons
It faces the street and I can often hear people rummaging through the trash. Not sure what there really is to do about that, though. Apartment is extremely cold in the winter though and doesn’t heat up well even with heating on.
