Cheap, decent landlord
Pros
If there’s an issue, text landlord and she responds fairly quickly. Landlord is fair with fixing things non-cosmetic. Great location No bedbugs
Cons
Exterminator only comes 2 times a year Landlord takes forever or just refuses to fix any cosmetic issues (stains on walls/ceilings, cracked walls/wallpaper etc) Must pay with check and walk over to deliver it, nothing electronic. Building needs a lot of maintenance and security cameras do not work. There’s been thefts in the building and landlord doesn’t care.
Advice to the owners
Take pride in your building. Fix the 100 year old door that’s literally falling off the hinges (or just get a new one?), make sure things are taken care of better and actually make sure security cameras work. Not just used to look nice.
