The building is in a prime Hell’s Kitchen location, close to countless restaurants, bars, and theaters, offering endless options for dining and entertainment. The proximity to multiple subway lines, including the C, E, and 1 trains, makes it easy to get around the city. The apartments have a cozy feel, with some units featuring exposed brick and classic New York charm.
Cons
The building is older and shows signs of wear and tear, especially in the hallways and common areas. Noise from the nearby bars and busy streets can be disruptive, especially during late nights and weekends. Some apartments are quite small and may feel cramped, especially for those with more belongings or looking for more space.
Solid building, no cosmetics
Pros
The building is good because it is old and well built. It is convenient to have an elevator. I like its big windows and the fact that the rent is cheaper than other buildings in the area. The building has a laundry in the basement, what is also good.
Cons
The landlord is completely anonymous! There is no way to contact them, only through the super. No repairs are ever made.
Advice to the owners
To take better care of the units, repair the wood flooring and have a plan to install ac units
