Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback for buildings managed by Ken Haron reveals a mixed experience with notable disparities across properties. Positives include some well-kept buildings with clean units, responsive supers, and good neighbor communities, especially in locations close to Central Park and transit. Several tenants appreciated amenities like laundry, courtyard access, and security features. However, complaints frequently arise about pest infestations, poor garbage management, heating issues, and noisy or unsafe neighborhoods. Many renters report slow or unprofessional owner responsiveness, unannounced rent hikes, and challenging management interactions. Overall, potential renters should anticipate variability—some properties are well-managed, but others suffer from neglect and poor communication, reflecting inconsistent management quality.

This apartment gave me nightmares

Pros

Close to BC so you can get anywhere

Cons

From the get-go we had so many issues with this apartment from a cockroach infestation to nearly 7 mice in a month. It turned out it was all coming from our dishwasher but the amount of effort it took to get management to answer and send over pest control was an absolute nightmare. The entire garbage area is overridden with rats, there was always flooding in the hallway - DO NOT move here
