Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Allan Goldman highlight a mix of positive and negative experiences. Tenants appreciate the responsive staff, convenient locations, and various amenities like laundry facilities. However, some buildings face issues with pests, noisy construction, unresponsive management, and occasional maintenance delays. Renters often suggest improving communication, addressing pest control effectively, and considering tenant feedback for better overall experiences. Despite some drawbacks, buildings owned by Allan Goldman attract tenants for their cleanliness, quietness, and attentive staff, making them suitable choices for those prioritizing location and affordability.

Reviews

Pretty good building, responsive Super.

Pros

The elevator in the building was larger than most and always worked. Common areas were kept clean and my apartment was pretty quiet (outside of the concert pianist who lived down the hall—luckily he was very good).

Cons

There was a period of time when trash removal became an issue and as a result I saw cockroaches in the basement and even a few in my unit. I later learned that the super had passed away rather suddenly. Once the new super was hired the issue resolved. Bathrooms were outdated.
