Love living here, but the landlord is a psycho nightmare
Pros
The building is beautiful! We have a nice backyard, there's a nice roof. Units are renovated and seem fairly spacious. It's a beautiful brownstone in Brooklyn.
Cons
Whenever there is a problem, contacting the landlord Sasha is an absolute nightmare. Unless you hunt him down and threaten to withhold rent, he will not get back to you. I've called him many times and he will pick up, say "busy" and then hang up on you and never call back. He takes at minimum 4 weeks to reply about a simple repair and then will berate you for not texting him in the "specific" way he needed you to. He'll raise your rent exorbitantly and then give you a free month so the banks see he's making more money and he doesn't care about prices nearby. He and his entire team are the most irresponsible, reckless landlords I've ever had.
Advice to the owners
Sell the building to someone else and stop being such a slimeball
