You get what you pay for.
Pros
Affordable rent. Perfect location in Queens. Access to nearby bars/restaurants, movie theater, coffee shops, laundry, and convenience centers.
Cons
You deal directly with the owner who fixes problems at glacial pace - often if he needs to hire services to fix stuff, the people he hires do botched jobs and you are needing to ask him to fix it again within weeks.
