Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Harrison Rayford reveals widespread dissatisfaction with maintenance and management. Residents report inadequate heating, poor cleanliness, and pest infestations, notably bed bugs and rodents. Garbage management is often subpar, and noise levels tend to be high due to unruly neighbors. Owner responsiveness is consistently rated as slow or nonexistent, with frequent complaints about unhelpful or absent superintendents. Safety and building upkeep are concerns, with some citing elevator malfunctions and structural issues. Despite some convenient locations, tenants generally advise management to improve maintenance, pest control, and tenant communication to provide a livable environment.

Winters are rough

Pros

Small building, can identify neighbors. Although throwing trash in an alleyway OUTSIDE is a hassle, I’ve never encountered rodents.

Cons

The building owner doesn’t allow the super to control the heat. Be prepared for bare minimum temps in the freezing cold. The super doesn’t know how to fix common issues, doesn’t follow up frequently and uses his KIDS to do his work.

Advice to the owners

Pay for better help and stop skimping on the heat.

Advice to the owners

Please get a better management and stop being so cheap we need things fixed in this building.
