The apartment did the job and it was fine but the landlord was fairly responsive.
Cons
He was also fairly unresponsive. The place was definitely not cleaned often or maintained in any way.

We had our security deposit held for months and then he only returned less than half of it because he claimed we created damages in the apartment that were actually there when we moved in and we’d asked them for be repaired for a year. He also let us extend past the move out date for 2 weeks but said we had to pay the full month upfront, and we would get half of it back with the deposit. We were college students and it for some of us it was our first apartment ever, and he took advantage of that. He also sends his son to do his dirty work.
Advice to the owners
Stop stealing from people. You stole half a months rent and most of a security deposit from three young people a few years ago and it was absolute bullshit.
