SLUMLORDS OF NYC

Pros

Convenient location in Brooklyn

Cons

Roaches out if control. Company is apathetic to any of the concerns of residents. Building is dirty. Property manager Gloria lies to your face. Jody Ann Clunis Web & Arlene McGlashan are supervisors who don't care at alllll.

Former tenant·Over 2 years ago

Works if you’re looking for affordable with space

Pros

The apartments have a good amount space in the living room and especially the bathroom. There is security in the lobby. We have 3 nice elevators and I almost never have to wait. The rent is quite affordable for the space you get compared to other NYC buildings.

Cons

Not super close to the train. The walk to the train is pretty hilly. Some residents are gross (dumping food in the trash compactor rather than placing it in bags) which leads to roaches. Some residents break property (glass doors) and just don’t seem to respect living in a shared space with others. Management is not super responsive.

Advice to the owners

Respond promptly to tenants because they are paying rent that funds your pockets.
