Great location in West Village
Cons
The building is very old and you can hear your neighbors on all sides stomping around their units. The entire apartment literally shakes. This can go on till 3am weeknights. Owner refuses to enforce rules to install carpets which would help a lot. Tenants also often sublet to loud neighbors who cause noise disturbances.
Advice to the owners
Enforce the rules. Require loud neighbors to install carpets. Make site inspections to corroborate disturbances. Treat your rent paying tenants with respect. Stop illegal subletting.
