Pros
Security cameras, private entrance, cheap rent, warm in the winter.
Cons
Ants, mice, no coolant during summer, no windows, holes in ceiling, flooding during storms with no intent from landlord to fix, washer & dryer in tenant area for landlord to use but landlord does not allow tenants to use (so the landlord will be in your area often using appliances that you just can not), very susceptible to mold, illegal eviction, threats from landlord, false accusations about smoking in house when other tenants of the same culture of the landlord (whom are given a pass) are actually the ones smoking, landlord shows up at job to make sure you aren’t lying about income, & just not a place suited for peace, tranquility, nor longevity for tenants. I definitely could go on, but I digress.
Advice to the owners
I absolutely will not share any wisdom on how to be a morally correct landlord with the landlord.
