Pretty but cheaply made apartments, bad management
Pros
It was recently renovated so the place looks stunning. Steps away from the subway. Parking available for $100 a month if you have a car.
Cons
There was a water pipe burst which resulted in my ceiling falling in. Everything was cheaply made- breaks easily. Landlord doesn’t care about tenants. The super lives a few houses down yet never once came to fix anything when called. No fire extinguishers- if there were a fire we’d be trapped. There weren’t even fire alarms when I moved in I had to buy mine. No house number on house. When I moved in there weren’t any mailboxes- I had to ask multiple times for mailboxes. Door bells are mixed up- my apartments doorbell rings another apartments and vice versa. Garbage sometimes gets thrown into the front yard by the super himself. There are a lot of bugs in the summer- even for rooms that don’t have windows.
Advice to the owners
Listen to the people paying your rent. Communicate with everyone in an apartment if there’s a problem with a specific apartment. Put in required safety equipment for emergencies.
