great neighborhood, landlord cuts corners
Pros
I like the smaller and more intimate setting of a multi-family home versus a large apartment complex. There's a porch and a front yard area. The landlord lives a couple blocks over and is very responsive via text but sometimes may cut corners and hire her brother rather than a professional to fix issues.
Cons
The floors and walls are very thin and other tenants can be very loud.
