Great apartment, not great area
Pros
Good water pressure, lots to do in the area, nice neighbors, pretty responsive landlord
Cons
Area felt unsafe, lots of drug usage on the corner, everything outside on that specific corner was fine

Pros
I liked how quiet Stanton St is. The building mangers are incredibly responsive and resolve issues very quickly. The unit was clean and freshly painted when we arrived. We had very few issues with our experience overall.
Cons
Some bedrooms are very small with little natural little and no living room which is pretty typical NYC, but there are better options in the same price range around the neighborhood. Old building with old LOUD pipes. It was hard to sleep when the radiators turned on the first few nights. The oven just did not work very well and the units are tinyyyyy.
Advice to the owners
Lower the price!
