Had a circuit that short, never got it fixed
Pros
Loved that it’s right outside the train station. My apartment was also an incredible size, and was entirely doable to have 3 other roommates with.
Cons
Beyond the inside of the building having two front doors that can stuck or are hard to unlock with a key, the stairs are dimly light and overall not taken well care of. My window was also sealed off with caulk which is not only illegal, but made it difficult to withstand the summer heat. I was subletting here but because the landlord didn’t “know me personally”, he ghosted any efforts to help me fix my short circuit. Glad to know he would’ve been okay with a fire starting!
Advice to the owners
I promise tearing down the building/gutting the apartment isn’t gonna fix the amount of problems you have as a landlord. Being responsive and helpful is not only your job but better in the long haul for your building.
