Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for LAQUASIA THOMAS-managed buildings reveals significant dissatisfaction with management responsiveness and maintenance. Heating systems are often inefficient and costly, with tenants citing drafty windows and inadequate space heaters. Pest problems, especially rats, are recurrent and poorly addressed. Garbage management and cleanliness vary but often draw criticism. Communication from management is described as slow, unhelpful, or even hostile, with reports of eviction threats despite rent payments. Although some appreciate the low rent and convenient locations, many advise urgent improvements in heating, pest control, and tenant relations. Overall, renters should expect challenges with building upkeep and owner engagement.

Reviews

Former tenant·9 months ago

Cheap livable property management awful

Pros

It’s cheap and has good lighting and a garbage chute

Cons

Landlord seems like a bad person with the effort he puts into keeping tenants happy. Very cold and could get expensive to use heat

Advice to the owners

You kinda suck but thanks for keeping the rent under 2k I guess

Former tenant·10 months ago

horrible building- avoid at all costs

Pros

only positive is that its a good amount of space for the price

Cons

this building is built so poorly. the windows are drafty as hell and let in all the cold air. No real heaters, they are space heaters they drilld into the wall. if i used them as intended, my heat bill would be over 500$. FOR A 1 BEDROOM. That's insane!! Please do not rent from this building. the landlords are absolute crooks

Advice to the owners

you are horrible
