The good, the bad, and the smelly

Pros

Clean stairwell. Nice front door. Secure entrance to apartment. Lower rental costs due to coliving.

Cons

Poor management by Common coliving. Apartments only professionally cleaned once per month. Mold in bathrooms. Brown water coming out of bathroom tub faucet. Bathroom sink clogged. Too many people living in one apartment. Constant garbage pile up and bad smells in apartment. No enforcement of no pet and no smoking policy.

Advice to the owners

Failure to listen to tenants’ concerns results in poor property management

OK but needs improvement

Pros

Good location, spacious rooms, in-unit washer and dryer.

Cons

It's been a few years since I lived here so I'm not sure if the building has improved at all but I had a number of gripes... The building itself is structurally unsound and is very plainly sinking into the ground. My friends joked about how they would all die on the stairs as there were so many loose tiles that came up when you stepped on them that you had to be careful not to slip and fall. At one point there was a gaping hole in the lobby wall connected to the pizza shop. But beyond all else TriHill Management was the Worst. They stalled on giving us our deposit back for so long that we had to file a complaint with the Consumer Frauds Bureau. They cheaped us out of our cleaning fee when the landlord even told us our place looked great upon a final walkthrough. At all times TriHill was either unresponsive or incredibly rude when they did communicate.
