The best parts about this building are the location and the wonderful doormen staff. You cant beat the location being in the heart of the Village, and all of the doormen are wonder and very kind people.
Cons
The cons are that majority of the current tenants are 20-22 year old students who are somehow able to pay the ridiculous rent costs these days. Parties take place every weekend, and the walls are very thin, so you can hear music and noise quite easily all hours of the night. The noise is not well regulated. The hallways also reek of marijuana smoke during these times, and the smell can even come into the individual units. Ever since the pandemic, this building jacked up rent costs well over 100% of what previous tenants were paying. All of the old-timer residents have since moved out (besides the few who are rent-controlled), and the incoming tenants are just kids who treat the building like a college dorm.
