Small but homey building
Pros
The building is on a street that is beautifully tree-lined and quiet and is only a couple blocks away from the Brooklyn Piers. It is small with a total of 8 units so noise from neighbors is minimum.
Cons
Appliances are old and can break easily, the pipes may burst if the weather gets too cold.
A studio apartment

The responsiveness of the landlord to fix things in the apartment has been good.
Cons
The floor is detached from the wall allowing bugs to come in all the time. Recently there have been a lot of bugs and I am considering moving. The toilet was absolutely disgusting and had thick dark residue covering the inside of the bowl. I had to call the landlord to clean the toilet after the fact. The flooring all uneven scratched and discolored. Is looks like it could be the original flooring from when the building was built. He counter top of the kitchen area is all burnt and scratched.
Advice to the owners
Place new flooring that is attached to the walls so no bugs come in.
