Pros
Good prices for what you get, especially compared to other buildings in the area.
Cons
Within the two years we've lived here there are always new problems popping up every week. Our central AC has trouble maintaining temperature and heat sometimes doesn't work, our walls started leaking when it rains heavily, there's water damage upstairs that's eroding the ceiling in our bedroom closet, our shower is regularly out of hot water, our oven is practically falling out of the island and doesn't keep a consistent temperature (will drop or raise 100° without warning), the list goes on. Aside from our particular unit, the building has had a mail/package theft problem for years that management hasn't taken action to fix, which could be as simple as updating our door code. All in all, building owners are unresponsive 80% of the time and the other 20% they send people over to talk to us about XYZ problem but don't actually fix anything. If you do decide to move here you can definitely find a nice unit with a spacious layout, but be prepared to fend for yourself when problems arise.
Advice to the owners
Focus on upping responsiveness, and invest some time into updating units with faulty AC, electrical wiring, appliances, etc. A lot of the problems we face as tenants, either within our units or the building itself, could be solved with a bit more attention and thoughtfulness from management.
