Well maintained units; responsive super
Pros
Owners responsive to maintenance requests. Quiet street. Friendly neighbors.
Cons
Withheld security deposit for months and ended up keeping it in it's entirety for spurious reasons. Landlady does not keep her word. Insulation in winter is poor in ground unit. Sound insulation with basement is poor. Basement unit tenant suffered a lot hearing our footsteps but there was nothing we could do. As an aside, the broker the owners used was a Compass agent who is not trustworthy.
Advice to the owners
Don't make up disingenuous excuses to take people's whole security deposits!
