The bottom apartments flood a few times a year. There’s not really a way to fix that, it’s a city problem and building structure problem. The top floor apartment (4) doesn’t always have heat. There are clearly structural problems with the building and the new owners are only focused on making cosmetic changes so that they can up the rent. Everyone who currently lives here (Jan 2024) has been here for 8 years are more and are being forced out. A new management company came in and bought the building and raised everyone’s rent more than 200%. They are currently doing construction on the building while we are living here with no regard for the fact that families are still living here.
