probably all you can afford but the roach problem is unconquerable
Pros
Cheap, great walkability, super close to everything. Owner is cool, might deflect some of your questions to his son who speaks English fluently. Owner takes zelle, sends receipt quick.
Cons
The roach issue can be minimized but never finished off. Most everybody in here just uses sprays, which pushes the roaches out into other units. Best practice is gel bait for roaches but this will only minimize the issue, you'll still see them. There is an infinite population of roaches at the community garden next door which is always covered in litter. Neighborhood is one of the roughest out there but it's not all bad. Local station is notoriously wild, I've narcan'd several people there recently. Still it reminds me in the shitty parts of town I grew up in and I like that. Units seem illegally small but it's basically the only units in the city at this price level.
