Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback on buildings managed by Christopher Zapata indicates a mixed management experience. Many praise the cleanliness, responsive and friendly staff, and well-maintained amenities such as functional laundry facilities and elevators. Supers receive strong commendations for their helpfulness and upkeep efforts. However, issues persist with thin walls leading to noise complaints, inconsistent garbage management, and occasional pest control problems. Some residents note aging infrastructure and a lack of significant renovations, particularly in hallways and flooring, detracting from comfort. While several tenants approve of the management’s responsiveness, others express frustration with slower maintenance and a need for better soundproofing and building updates.

Love Jackson Heights

Pros

The super and wife have been in the building for 3 years and maintain the building in top shape! I appreciate that they keep the building clean and the work orders get done on Fridays. They have renovated the elevator which is great!

Cons

The laundry machines can be improved. The noise level has been fine and we have been able to manage it. I gave it 4 stars since we have new neighbor and noise level has slightly increased. We knew there was an apartment vacant and asked the landlord about any vacancies and said they didn’t have any which it’s clear that they are not posting them to the public. Perhaps they have a waiting list.
