Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by IRA Lichtiger shows a mixed management approach. Several properties, particularly around Queens, boast clean, well-maintained environments with responsive and friendly staff, offering quiet neighbors and good locations. However, noise from nearby infrastructure like the Long Island Railroad affects some apartments. Conversely, other buildings, notably at Rockaway Beach Boulevard, suffer from poor upkeep, inadequate heating and cooling, pest issues, and lack of timely management responses. Tenants urge improved communication, faster repairs, and better building maintenance. Overall, management is praised in some locations but criticized in others, reflecting inconsistency in tenant experience across the portfolio.

great place to live.

quite neighbors, great location, comfortable living space. friendly super. management pretty fast when it comes to repair or service requests.

Cons

Long island railroad behind building if you live in a c or d apartment youll definitely hear the train if the windows are open.

Beautiful Building. Amazing location. Annoying LIRR.

Pros

Everything is well maintained. Apartments are beautifully designed. Large windows. BIG CLOSETS! AC units.

Cons

LIRR shakes the building and it can be annoying now even more with the opening of the Grand Central station and more trains being added. This is for the apartments that face the tracks not sure about the ones that face Austin st.
