No heat or hot water

Pros

The building is usually quiet with friendly tenants.

Cons

There's a lack of hot water, especially during the winter months.Hot water is on a first come first serve basis. It's hard to get in the morning and in the evening when everyone is either getting ready to leave or returning home. During the winter months, condensation builds up around the window frames and ceiling due to the draft that seeps in. The building is filthy 98 percent of the time, due to a lazy live-in superintendent that performs his duties ONLY on occasions. The super also completes a terrible paint job that not only covers the walls in the building hallway but also unintentionally covers the door frames and tiling. For the most part, management is responsive to answering calls, but they lack a super to perform the task at hand when needed. If you need something fixed, you're better off fixing it yourself if you're handy.

Advice to the owners

Ditch the LAZY super and hire someone that actually knows how to perform job duties and has the motivation to work.
