If Walls Could Talk

Pros

Big bedroom and living room, updated appliances, nice proximity to the A train

Cons

VERY thin walls. You can hear literally everything your neighbors do. Very unfortunate when your bedroom wall is shared with your neighbor’s kitchen, especially when they blare music at all hours. Some units have very narrow kitchens. Elevator has broken down many times. Issues with cold water rather than warm water—default water temperature is hot. Similarly, washers and dryers run hotter than normal.

Advice to the owners

Respond and resolve tenant issues in a timely fashion, rather than throwing up your hands. Basic violations of a tenant’s lease should be dealt with effectively.

Okay building to live in

Pros

Building quiet, friendly neighbors and packages don’t get stolen too often

Cons

The super needs to clean, huge rats infront of building and loud people on the second floor 2B
