Pros
Beautiful rooftop view of the city. Decent size apartment for what we’re paying. Very close to the train. Great neighborhood and kind neighbors.
Cons
We got a pandemic deal on rent, but the owner has been aggressively trying to get us to move out so he can raise rent again. Also the place was overrun by cockroaches when we moved in, the ceiling leaks when it rains (and we’re not even on the top floor of the building) and the toilet broke and it took two weeks for someone to fix it. Both sinks leaked and I had to do some amateur plumbing. Don’t live here unless you know how to fix things.
Advice to the owners
Invest in actually fixing the place, seal the crack between the walls and the floor so pests don’t get in, don’t overcharge people who live here (it’s not worth that much!)
