Reviews

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

Slummy old building, shady landlord

Pros

Location is good, charming pre war building with brick and molding

Cons

Insufficient heat, bad appliances, inadequate maintenance, multiple building code violations, mold, landlord cut and took everyone's bikes, landlord doesn't respond to requests, landlord didn't return security deposit, landlord on list of worst landlords in new york, leaking roof that was never properly repaired, broken flooring throughout

Advice to the owners

Do a better job

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

a slumlord who doesn't take care of his building

Pros

we have a lot of space for the price

Cons

has the audacity to increase rent every year when NO improvements have been made in the building, responsiveness is a 1 out of 10. it takes days or even weeks to hear back. One must take it upon themselves to hire an exterminator which ive had to do or pay out of pocket for repairs that should be taken care of by the landlord!

Advice to the owners

learn how to run a building and most importantly listen to your tenants and address building concerns without having to be told and when told do it in a timely manner
