Cheap but not worth dealing with landlord

Cons

Landlord Doreen Raffa is con artist, she’ll do anything to scam a bit of money out of you. Basement is basically an open sewer, flooding constantly. Always waits until the depth of winter to turn heat on. No adequate place to keep garbage.

Pros

The apartments are large and thanks to the owners’ complete lack of oversight, much of the original 1899 details remain in place

Cons

Literally everything else. Anthony is racist and collects rent like a slum lord, banging on apartment doors with no warning to demand checks. Lisa is negligent and was clearly thrown into a landlady position which she was not prepared for. The building has a devastating cockroach and mouse infestation and, while exterminators do visit, none of the larger work needed to actually get rid of the problem will ever be done. There are many, many more issues with this building and overall I’d say avoid avoid avoid.
