Pay Premium for Rodents
Pros
It’s in a nice location for UES.
Cons
If it not a question of if but when you’ll have mice infiltrate your apartment. The Super is non response and a mean old man that lived nowhere near the building. You have a 50/50 shot at getting a response from the building manager and once you do it takes days/weeks for them to find someone to address your problem. You’re paying a premium price compared to other units in the UES with nothing to show for it. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbor does and says at a normal volume. I’m pretty sure I could hear my neighbor whisper.
342 E 76th St, Apartment #1A
Pros
I liked how this building had dishwasher and a washer dryer in building, but beware!
Cons
This building company does not care about it’s tenants. I have had a mice and roach problem for awhile now, and they do is spray peppermint oil and put down mouse traps which I can get at the local hardware store. They will not make accommodations when you are moving out. Expect to commute to drop off the keys at the office or pay for overnight shipping. Oh the super doesn’t live in the building, and lives on the lower east side!
Advice to the owners
These people are snakes!
