Difficult landlord but nice building
Pros
Spacious house. Plenty of bathrooms and large rooms.
Cons
Things would break and we would have no response from management for weeks on these things we were paying for. Eventually we called the owner and he showed up, made a list, and made sure things got done. Once the manager told us we left the oven on for the entire month. (We had all left for holidays). But we don’t use the oven. And that’s when we found out they were doing tours of our home while we were away. Maybe they’ve changed their property manager but without the owner as muscle over them they seemed to disregard us in favor of fixing their more profitable tenants problems.
Advice to the owners
Get a property manager who doesn’t need to be pressured by you, the owner, to do the job they’re paid to do! Any problems we had with the building arose from a poor job on the manager’s part in communicating or scheduling with us. Improve the manager and the experience was great and the apartment/building was a great one.
