Beware of the management company they’re slumlords

Pros

Building is nice but it’s dirty and the landlords are greedy slumlords.

Cons

Building is dirty. Landlord will not respond to maintenance requests unless you threaten them with 311. They rent gouge and will increase your rent by 40% after a year.

Advice to the owners

Stop being so greedy and unresponsive.

More trouble than it’s worth.

Pros

The building appears very nice and the apartments are a decent size for the price of rent.

Cons

Noisy! You can hear neighbors through the walls and doors slamming constantly. Frequent parties in the neighborhood. Management is incredibly unresponsive and unhelpful. It’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to do anything at all. Also forget ever being warm in the winter. Expect electric bills of well over $300 if you want to have even the slightest sensation of warmth.
