horrible place to live
Pros
The only pro is that most of the neighbors are nice but with the way things are going I doubt any of them will stay in this building
Cons
Currently we have: broken elevator, no hot water, no lights in hallway or stairwell, garbage piling up in the basement. New owner of building seems to be actively trying to get tenants to leave (harassment). Every two weeks or so there will be no hot water, no heat in winter, broken elevator, trash piling up in basement, no gas. Super does not reply. You can check out the violations yourself by searching the department of buildings website for the address.
