Better than expected
Pros
Location, Price, Cleanliness, Super, Management, were all great in my opinion. The building has a true Brooklyn feel and is very well maintained.
Cons
Wish they had more parking spots available:(
Advice to the owners
Add additional parking
Converted Furniture Factory
Pros
Beautiful apartments, exposed wood ceiling, 15ft ceilings. 8ft windows. Sun drenched, renovated. Elevator and laundry in building. Great security and access to private gated parking and a bike lock area. Beautiful neighborhood.
Cons
The apartments with the exposed exposed ceilings are unbelievably loud, they act like tuning forks. Your neighbors feel like roommates, you can hear, smell, feel everything like the wall is a curtain. It’s the worst noise level I’ve ever heard. I would sacrifice the ceilings for drywall in an instant. The water is occasionally brown when you turn the faucet to hot. The management company said they installed a filter and that it was the cities fault. When we moved in there was an abandoned church building across the street. There is currently a 15 story luxury apartment building that is being constructed 25 feet from our unit. That construction won’t be complete until the end of 2023. It’s very loud. Parking is a little expensive at $200/month. Laundry is a little expensive too. There is a very active public park across the street that is very busy with cars and loud music contesting the street. Next door is a Pratt dorm so you share the block with college kids.
Advice to the owners
Finish the ceilings.
