Poorly maintained building in the middle of trash

Beautiful building managed horribly

Pros

The location and ease of access with the elevator, mailroom, and laundry are ideal. Friendly atmosphere among tenants.

Cons

The super is overworked and getting something fixed can take months, if ever. Went without AC or Heat for a year and a half with no response from the property owner for weeks or months on end. It was eventually fixed, but a whole winter and summer without heat is completely unacceptable.

can anyone explain on the scandulous nature of the landlords?

I would highly recommend not renting from this landlord. She is incredibly invasive, rude, cloying, and up-charges. We lived in our Park Slope apartment for four years and when we moved out, our cleaning charges were less than $500. Before leaving this dark, sad space in immaculate condition, she charged us over a k. To get rid of her, we just paid what she wanted. In short, we hated our experience and we were so excited to move into our new condo.
