Okay, but not worth price
Pros
The neighborhood is really the selling point for this apartment. Great shops and restaurants, close to the promenade.
Cons
Old and out-dated, very cold, had a fair number of roaches. This is your classic NYC apartment where the landlord charges way too much for a really mediocre apartment just because he can. Hasn’t been updated in decades. The fridge broke TWICE and his solution was to have us store all of our food in a different apartment in a building down the street lol. Also, he claimed that the apartment had been professionally cleaned when we moved it (which it had NOT based on the state of the toilets...) and then was nasty to us about making sure the place looked like it was “professionally” cleaned when we moved out.
