Building is fine, but avoid #2K
Pros
The building is relatively well-maintained, there were some roaches when we moved in but regular pest control seems to have been doing its job a year later.
Cons
Not so much a problem with the building as with the unit, as it's a condo. I lived in unit 2K for a year and wanted to stay after my roommates left, and the owner, Jocelyn, repeatedly assured me she'd like me to stay and come up with new roommates before illegally giving me a week's notice that she had found new tenants and would no longer be considering any roommates I submitted for her consideration and would have to move out in a week. Then her agent tried to BS me about how it wasn't actually illegal (consultation with 311's tenant helpline and an acquaintance with experience in housing law reaffirmed that I was in the right that 30 days' notice of non-renewal of tenancy was required by law and she was lying to me).
Advice to the owners
Learn the law, follow it, and don't lie to your tenants about it.
