Looks nice but they don’t really care
Pros
This building is pretty new, the heat and air conditioning are controlled in each room, there’s a finished rooftop, laundry room and a lounge/workspace. There’s also a sister building around the corner that has a gym, another finished rooftop and lounge spaces you can use.
Cons
The building management doesn’t really care. So far this year I’ve put in 16 tickets alone because either a washer or dryer doesn’t work. They don’t seem to do any preventative maintenance when it comes to amenities just waits for tickets. The cleaning standards have gone down significantly this year. I think they vacuum once a week at most. The garbage rooms are constantly filled with trash. The laundry room is always dirty. I’ve had two packages stolen and all they’ve done about it is tell me “we’ve reviewed the footage and somebody came in and took it. file a police report”. I could keep going with more things but the bottom line is this place is fine, not great. Not terrible just fine; but definitely not the quality of what it should be for what you pay to be here
Advice to the owners
Care about every part of your space more, not just the part new tenants see. Care about your tenants more we pay a good amount to be here
A $30,000 Millionaire
Pros
Spacious rooms, provides wardrobe if the room doesn't have one, laundry in building, elevator, furnished roof, cleaning crew that visits daily, access to gym at neighboring building
Cons
Like most new Bushwick apartments, this is a $30,000 millionaire. Cheap, shoddy, corner-cutting work that was already falling apart in its second year. They dress it up with amenities but those are a distraction from how miserable you will be living in these poorly constructed rooms. Additionally, they did not give back the full security deposit, even though they failed to send an itemized list of needed repairs. Based on THE LAW, I should have received my full deposit.
