Landlord rents out half the units on Airbnb - we constantly have transients coming in and out of the building who have zero regard for the people who live there full time. He doesn’t respond to the fire alarm going off for no reason, doesn’t respond to the sewage alarm going off for no reason, doesn’t fix anything, faulty appliances, coin-operated laundry in basement.

Advice to the owners

Stop listing apartments for short-term occupancy on Airbnb. Fix the problems and get new appliances
