Pros
- Apartment itself is clean and quiet most of the time - Private outdoor space - Amazing location
Cons
- Bottom-tier construction quality and fixtures. Lots of things in and out of apartment are broken or unfinished. Construction seems in no rush to fix. Management says construction has to fix things and they themselves have no insight on the process. - Onsite management is powerless. Building is unfinished, units have material defects (leaks, broken doors, defective outlets). Service tickets and even 311 violations do not help get work done. - Horribly inefficient electric appliances. Your bills will be $200+ per month.
Advice to the owners
Quit. Get out of construction and property management. You are incapable and Rivington House should have had you banned from NYC.
