Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for Isaac Weiss's buildings consistently describe poor management characterized by unresponsiveness and neglect. Common complaints include untreated pest infestations, persistent maintenance issues such as leaks and heating failures, and inadequate security measures. Cleanliness and garbage management are often subpar, contributing to unhealthy living conditions. While neighbors are generally regarded as friendly, noise levels and building upkeep are frequently criticized. Tenants stress the need for proactive communication and timely repairs but report little support from management. Overall, renters advise against leasing in these properties due to persistent neglect and disregard for tenant well-being.

DO NOT MOVE IN

Pros

Windows in the bedrooms, L proximity. Presents nicely at first showing.

Cons

roach nest that was absolutely unfathomable. No smoke detector. Ceiling leaks. Absolute lemon of an apartment. Hallway is disgusting. Flooring is slanted. This is within the first 3 days of moving in. Do not go near this building for health reasons.

Advice to the owners

Demolish it and start over.

Terrible management company

Pros

Great location and we knew all of our neighbors because it was up to us to ban together to get things fixed in the apartment building.

Cons

The front door would be broken for MONTHS allowing anyone inside. My neighbor woke up to a dehomed person sleeping in front of her apartment door. The management company refused to fix anything until we threatened them with a housing lawyer and they did not give our security deposit back.
