Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback about buildings managed by Mark Zweibon reveals a mixed experience with notable variations across properties. Positive aspects include responsive management teams, well-maintained apartments, secure buildings, and good locations with friendly neighbors. Many appreciate timely repairs, functional elevators, and pet-friendly policies. However, several reviews mention issues such as inconsistent cleanliness, outdated common areas, occasional pest problems, and noise disturbances due to thin walls or ongoing construction. Some renters express dissatisfaction with communication about lease terms and maintenance delays. Overall, the management tends to be approachable but could improve building upkeep and transparency to enhance tenant satisfaction throughout their portfolio.

Loud and dirty building

Pros

The location is good

Cons

Apartment was absolutely filthy when I moved in - syrup stains in the fridge, windows covered in dirt, previous tenants belongings still in medicine cabinet. The super is very difficult to understand and communicate with. The walls are paper thin and you can also hear noise from units above and below. The radiator is extremely loud. Floors are uneven and very old. Would definitely look elsewhere. Everyone on my floor including myself moved out after 1 year.

Great apartment building

Pros

Building is well maintained and the apartments are well taken care of. The super and building manager are very responsive. The elevator makes it worth it! Laundromat is a few doors down.

Cons

Low light in some units.
